INTRODUCTION It is a system that involves in acquiring weather & environment data using advanced electronic sensors and sending them to a web server via internet for real time weather monitoring and storage of data for future analysis and study.

OBJECTIVES The goal of a weather forecasting system is to detect , record , and display weather characteristics like temperature , humidity , barometric pressure and light intensity.

What is IoT ? IoT stands for Internet of Things. It refers to a network for interconnected devices that can communicate and share data. IoT devices include sensors , and other smart devices.

Why we need an IoT based weather forecasting system? Ease of monitoring your local weather conditions in real time from anywhere in the world. For storing weather and environment data for short and long term for studying weather pattern changes and to understand how human affected your local weather. Easy deployment of the set up for monitoring local atmospheric condition and microclimates for weather forecasting and prediction.

Hardware & Software Requirements Hardware Requirements :- a. Node MCU b. BMP 180 Pressure sensor c. DHT 11 Humidity temperature sensor d. Rain sensor e. Breadboard Software Requirements:- a. Arduino IDE b. Cloud server or Thing-speak

Observation & Result

Applications 1. Agriculture: Farmers use this to plant planting and harvesting from weather condition . 2. Transportation: Airlines and shipping companies can use weather forecasts to plan routes and avoid delay due to weather related disruptions. 3.Emergency management: Emergency response teams can use weather forecasts to prepared for natural disasters such as floods and wildfires .

Benefits & Future Scopes Improved accuracy and reliability of weather data. Cost-effective weather and scalable monitoring solutions. Enhanced ability to predict and respond to extreme weather conditions.

Conclusion The IoT weather forecasting system offers real time data collections, analysis and prediction, enhancing accuracy and reliability. With sensors gathering atmospheric data, coupled with the advanced algorithms ,it provides precise forecasts , aiding various industries and decision making.
