They possess literacy skills which include technological abilities such as keyboarding, internet navigation, interpretation of technological speak, ability to communicate and interpret coded language and decipher graphics

Comic Book A comic book is an excerpt from a larger serialized narrative that is told via illustration. Famous comic book publishers include Archie Comics, Marvel Comics, and DC Comics.
Digi-Fiction/Triple Media Literature Combines three media: book, movie/video, and internet website. In order to get the full story, students must engage in navigation, reading, viewing, in all three formats.
Graphic Novels Narrative work in which the story is conveyed to the reader using comic form. Graphic novels share all the key characteristics of traditional novels. It has a clear beginning, middle, and end, a central narrative, character development and personal journeys.
Manga (Japanese word for comics) Manga is a J apanese word for comics It is used in the English-speaking world as a generic term for all comic books and graphics novels originally published in Japan. Considered as an artistic and storytelling style.

Chick Lit or Chick Literature Is a genre of fiction which addresses issues of modern womanhood, often humorously and lightheartedly. Chick it typically features a female protagonist whose womanhood is heavily thermalized in the plot.
Flash Fiction It i s a style of fictional literature providing a complete story within 500-1000 words.
