What Is Quantitative Research, Its Importance and Parts By: Kelvin Batong 12 TVL G

What Is A Quantitative Research???

What Is A Quantitative Research??? Quantitative research is a type of research that assumes that the phenomena under study can be measured and involves methods that: Gathers data using measurement (numerical data). Analyze data by using quantitative statistical analysis techniques.

Its Importance?? Quantitative research is essential for gathering accurate and objective information. It helps researchers understand patterns and relationships and make informed decisions based on solid evidence. By focusing on numerical data, it allows for clear insights that can be applied in various fields, such as education, health, and business.

PARTS: CHAPTER 1: THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND Introduction: Presents the context and rationale behind the research topic. Statement of the Problem : Clearly defines the main problem or question the research seeks to address. Hypothesis: Offers a testable prediction or assumption based on the research problem. Significance of the Study: Highlights the importance and potential impact of the research.

Scope and Limitations of the Study: Specifies the boundaries of the study, including what it covers and its limitations. Conceptual Framework: Shows the theoretical foundation or model guiding the research. CHAPTER 2 REVIEW OF LITERATURE Conceptual Literature: Discusses theories and models related to the study topic.

Research Literature: Summarizes previous empirical studies related to the research. Synthesis: Integrates key ideas from the literature to form the foundation of the study.

CHAPTER 3: METHODOLOGY Research Design: Describes the approach and structure used to conduct the research. Respondents of the Study: Identifies the participants or subjects of the study. Data Gathering Instrument: Lists the tools used to collect data (e.g., surveys, tests).

CHAPTER 4: PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA Provides a detailed report of the results, including statistical analyses and interpretations.

CHAPTER 5: SUMMARY, CONCLUSION, AND RECOMMENDATION Summarizes key findings, draws conclusions based on the data, and offers suggestions for future research or practical applications
