What is senior serve??

An informational video for graduating Seniors who are interested in participating in the 2012 THS ProGrad Senior Serve Dinner fundraiser.

2. What is Senior Serve???? It’s a fundraiser It’s a sit down dinner It’s a competition It’s for graduating seniors only It has a Silent Auction It has Entertainment It has a Live Auction It’s a lot of fun!

4. How does it work???? Step 1 : Seniors who want to compete form a group. How big can a group be? 2-5 students Step 2 : Pick a theme Step 3 : Sell tickets Who can buy a ticket? Anyone who has $25 and wants to have fun, Step 4 : Decorate your table and make or buy your costumes. Do I have spend a lot of $$$ ? No, you can fit your decorations to match your budget.

5. Themes can be really silly, or very dramatic, or fantasy, or real, bold or beautiful, imaginative or scientific, sporty or classical, musical, or quiet. The only requirement is that you have fun!

6. Costumes can be made from stuff you have, or you can borrow your Uncle Cleo’s zoot suit and spats, or General Patton’s military fatigues, or Aunt Hilda’s cooking apron, or your neighbor’s 1928 flapper costume. Just keep your theme and your costume modest…

7. Let them eat cake! Oh, ya ….did I mention each team has to have a cake?? Your cake can be home made or store bought. It should be decorated to your theme. Judges will pick the top five cakes to be auctioned during the live auction. All cakes are then served to guests after dinner.

8. Bring on the talent! During dinner, daring and talented Senior entertainment will be presented. But don’t worry, participating in this part is purely optional and does not factor into the table and theme judging competition.

9. Make your guest list…. Seniors will be waiting on their guests ensuring they have everything they need. After all, you are working for tips that night. Steady hands and a great smile are a must if you are going to beat out the competition.

10. What’s That Again? It’s a fundraiser $25 a plate, buy tickets at lunches in the Commons It’s a sit down dinner Tell your family to come, even your pesky kid sister or brother… It’s a competition Win Bonus Tiger Bucks in one of 5 categories It has a Silent Auction Lot’s of good stuff It has Entertainment Got the X Factor? Show us your talent! It has a Live Auction Will your cake win??? It’s a lot of fun! Seniors just gotta have fun!!!
