4. Growing up Growing up Babe was a bit of a trouble maker. He would skip school and steal from shops and stores. At age seven, Ruth was sent to  St. Mary's Industrial School for Boys .

5. Getting signed In 1914 Babe Ruth was signed to pitch by the   Baltimore Orioles . At the time the Orioles were a “Minor League” baseball organization.

6. Going to the MLB He played with the Orioles for 2 seasons then was signed by the “Boston Red Sox” in 1916.
