Xat Application Process Presentation

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national-level management entrance examination for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. The exam is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on behalf of XAMI (Xavier Associate Management Institutes). XAT score is accepted by approximately 150 B-Schools. In XAT 2019, the number of test takers is expected to cross 1 lakh.

3. Prerequisites for XAT Registration Valid email address Valid mobile phone number Mark sheet of class X, XII, graduation and/or other equivalent exams. Details of work experiences (if any) Preferred XAT Exam Center choices Scanned images of photograph and signature Scanned copy of category certificate (if any) Bank details (credit card, debit card or net banking) for payment of Application fees

4. How To Apply for XAT 2019 ? Registration-  Visit the official website of XAT and enter your name, email id and contact details Fill XAT Application Form-  Enter personal details, contact information, academic details, work experience, program preference and exam center preference. Upload Documents-  Upload your scanned copies of documents such as Photograph, Signature, Category certificate and disability certificate Payment of Application Fee-   XAT 2019 Application Fee can be paid online via net banking/credit card/debit card.

5. Step 1 – Online Registration Visit the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline.in Click on ‘ Click Here for New Registration ’ Enter Name, Contact details and Email-id A provisional XAT ID number and Password will be sent through SMS & email

6. Step 2 – Fill XAT Application Form Enter your  XAT id and Password  sent on your registered email address and mobile number XAT Application Form will open Enter the following details: Personal Details Academic History Program Preference

7. Step 3 – Upload Documents Upload the below documents in their respective formats/ specifications : REQUIRED DOCUMENTS DIMENSION AND TYPE OF FILE Photograph Dimension – 200 x 230 pixels; File Format - .jpg or .jpeg; File Size – 20-50 Kb Signature Dimension – 140 x 60 pixels; File Format - .jpg or .jpeg; File Size - 10kb —20kb NC-OBC/SC/ST Certificate Self-attested Scanned as pdf document PwD /DA Certificate Self-attested Scanned as pdf document

8. Step 4 – Pay Application Fee The application fee is same for all categories i.e. INR 1650 Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of INR 300/- each If the fee is paid after the last date, it is INR 2000 Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of INR 500/- each after the last date

9. Online- Debit Card, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets Offline- IDBI Bank Challan / DD Candidates making the payment offline have to send the filled form to the following address within fifteen days from the date of issuance of DD: The Chairperson, Admissions, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur - 831001 Mode Of Payment

10. Candidates may choose to apply through GMAT score obtained during December 01, 2016 and December 20, 2018 for following XLRI programmes . Indian candidates can only apply for General Management Programme through GMAT score. NRI and Foreign candidates in addition to the above programmes may also apply for Business Management and Human Resource Management programmes using GMAT score XAT 2019 Registration through GMAT

13. How to A pply for XAT Form Correction Open the official website for XAT 2018 i.e.  xatonline.in. Click on the  “Existing User”  button. Enter your  XAT id and password  and click on “Login”. Navigate through the different sections in the application form and check the details you have entered. Change or modify the details which are incorrect or incomplete. Click on  “Save and Continue”  or “Save” and Exit.
