Founded in 1597, we are one of the oldest sake breweries in Japan. Our brewery is located in Yonezawa, an area with
heavy snowfall, and we exclusively produce Junmaishu (pure rice sake) using soft water from melted snow. Our sake is
characterized by its aromatic yet rich flavor, which has achieved high acclaim, including the first place trophy in the Junmai
Daiginjō category at the International Wine Challenge 2024.
We have also received national and international awards for our sustainability efforts, including a unique recycling and
renewable-based energy system that uses sake lees to generate electricity.
Our brewery is committed to producing pure, superior quality sake in a sustainable manner. Our sake, brewed in the cold,
snowy countryside has an aromatic yet rich flavor, and pairs very well with a meal.
We make our sake using sustainable, decarbonized energy.
