2. Artificial intelligence The term AI was first coined by john McCarthy in the year 1956.He defined AI as the science and engineering of making intelligent machine. It is the theory and development of computer system able to perform a task which normally requires human intelligence. For example translating a language or making a decision etc. Real life examples where AI includes are Google AI eye doctor (identifies diabetic retinopathy). AI virtual assistant Alexa and Google Duplex can response , book appointments, adds human touch which hardly recognize whether a machine or human is calling etc.
