The roots of Taoism go back at least to the 4th century BCE. Early
Taoism drew its cosmological notions from the School of Yinyang
(Naturalists), and was deeply influenced by one of the oldest texts of
Chinese culture, the I Ching (Yi Jing), which expounds a philosophical
system about how to keep human behaviour in accordance with the
alternating cycles of nature. The Tao Te Ching (Dao De Jing), a compact
book containing teachings attributed to Laozi is widely considered the
keystone work of the Taoist tradition, together with the later writings of
Zhuangzi.

Zhuang Zhou commonly known as
Zhuangzi was an influential
Chinese philosopher who lived
around the 4th century BC during
the Warring States period, a period
corresponding to the summit of
Chinese philosophy, the Hundred
Schools of Thought. He is credited
with writing—in part or in whole—a
work known by his name, the
Zhuangzi, which is one of the
foundational texts of Taoism.

According to Tao - when we sleep, the souls
awake and When we awake, the body is
liberated.
Believe that human life, operates in three levels:-
Heaven ( above) - Tao of heaven
Earth ( below) - Tao of earth

Body ( within) - Tao of man/ Man on the earth
