Planning is needed if we’re to use
our time wisely.
As Christ’s church in Crane we need
a plan to help every member work
together toward goals that please
God.

3. PRAY: Acts 13:1-3; Rom. 12:12;
1 Thes. 5:17; Eph. 3:20-21; Jas. 1:5
Prayer must accompany our full
walk with Christ.
Never underestimate the power of
prayer.

4. RESEARCH:
Eph. 5:17; Lk. 6:46; Mt. 22:29;
Acts 17:11; Eph. 2:10
Identifying the work & object of it is
imperative.
To do the will of God, one must first
know it.

5. PLAN: Prov. 20:18; 24:27; Lk.
14:25-33; Prov. 19:2; 29:20
Plan well & stick to it. Write down
detail. Be flexible… to adjust… and
accommodate new info.
Planning includes budgeting, supply,
manpower, objective etc.
What? Why? When? Where? Who? How?
Regular business meetings are
essential.

6. INFORM:
Acts 15:22-32; 20:17-21
Uninformed people are
unsupportive, disinterested, &
unsympathetic.
People must know what is before
them and what is expected of them.

Neh. 4:6, 16-17; 1 Cor. 12:20-27
There is something for everyone to
do! 
Take talent inventory of the church
Leave no one feeling left out, etc.

8. EXHORT:

2 Tim. 4:1-2; Titus 2:15
Share your excitement! Keep church
encouraged and reminded of the
work.

Many are great planners but they
never finish their work!

Constantly evaluate the condition,
quality, and progress of your work.
Remaining faithful to God? Progressing?
Objectives being achieved? Laborers
out of service? What remains undone?
Correct errors. Reinforce successes!

11. REPORT: Acts 14:27; 21:17-19
Church has a right to know… fruits
of their efforts whether positive or
negative.
Regular reporting keeps interest &
allows for setting of new goals.

12. RENEW: 1 Cor. 15:58; Acts 20:24;
Phil. 3:13-15; Heb. 10:38-39
No church or individual stands still
spiritually. When forward movement stops
backward begins.
Activity must be maintained, new work
identified, new goals established.
Prayerful searching of responsibility from
scripture must continue!
