INTRODUCTION Doctor Finder App (Life Care) is a project which aims in developing a computerized system to maintain all the information of hospital entities. It has a facility of admin login through which the admin can monitor the whole system. Admin modules are managing patients, manage doctor s, and manage appointments. Patient modules are find doctors and applied for appointment, view appointment and view prescription. Doctor modules are view our appointments, write prescriptions, and view patient details. Overall this project of ours is being developed to help the hospital administration, maintain the hospital management in the best way possible and also reduce the human efforts.

OBJECTIVE The main objective of this project is to manage the records of patients, doctors and appointments. Reduce the paper work and provide the 24*7 accessible website with user-friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface) to manage the records. Our objective is by using this website patient can search and view doctors profiles and also apply for appointment. This website project is also become useful for doctors for viewing patient’s details and write prescriptions to patients.

NEED OF THE SYSTEM There is always a need of a system that will perform online searching of doctors and apply for appointment. This system will reduce the manual operation required to maintain all the records. And also generates the various reports for analysis.

PURPOSE To manage the hospital administrative work. It helps to patients to find doctors details and Take appointment online from anywhere. This project also helps doctors work such as keep information of patient and appointment bookings and helps in giving prescriptions to patients. PROPOSED SYSTEM The online hospital management system is available in the market that can serve patients to search doctors near by and take appointment and view our appointment status online.

PROJECT SCOPE The project has a wide scope, as it is not intended to a particular organization. This project is going to develop generic software, which can be applied by any businesses organization. More over it provides facility to its users. Also the software is going to provide a huge amount of summary data.

ADMIN MODULES Dashboard : In this section admin can see all detail in brief like total number of patients, Total number of appointments, Rejected Appointment, Accepted Appointment, total doctors etc. Appointment : In this section admin can view the detail of appointments and have right to reject and select appointment. Patient : In this section admin can mange patient (add/update). Patient List : In this section admin can view patients list make invoices of bill.

ADMIN MODULES Doctor : In this section admin can manage doctor (add/update). Doctor List : In this section admin can view doctors list. Invoice : In this section there is the list of total invoices which is viewed by admin Search Appointment : In this section admin can search appointment with the help of his/her appointment number, name and contact number. Search Invoice : In this section admin can search invoices with the help of his/her invoice number. Admin can also update his profile, change password and recover password.

USER(PATIENT) MODULES Appointment : Patient can take appointment with doctor on particular date and time. Search : Patient can search doctor via name, speciality and location. View Prescription : Patient can view the prescriptions given by doctor. Patient can also update his profile and change password.

USER(DOCTOR) MODULES Appointment : Doctor can view our appointment details. Prescription : Doctor can write prescriptions to patients. View Patients : Doctor can view the patient details. Doctor can also update his profile and change password.

USE CASE DIAGRAM Use case diagram consists of use cases and actors and shows the interaction between them. The key points are: The main purpose is to show the interaction between the use cases and the actor. To represent the system requirement from user’s perspective. The use cases are the functions that are to be performed in the module. An actor could be the end-user of the system or an external system.

CONCLUSION & FUTURE SCOPE   FUTURE SCOPE This web application involves almost all the basic features of the online searching of doctors and appointment management. The future implementation will be online help for the users and chatting with website administrator. CONCLUSION The project entitled “Online Doctor Finder App” is developed using HTML, CSS and Bootstrap as front end and PHP, MYSQL database in back end to computerize the process of online doctor searching and appointments management. This project covers only the basic features required.
