6. RESPUESTA CORTA Sujeto + auxiliar (negación). Ejemplo : ¿Ellos habían traído muchos regalos? Had they brought many gifts? Answer: Yes, they had. No , they had not. / No, they hadn’t. ¿ Tú habías comido antes de la fiesta ? Had you eaten before the party ? Answer: yes , I had No , I hadn’t .

7. Recuerde la diferencia del significado de la palabra “había” empleada como verbo auxiliar (¿usted había dormido?) y la empleada para indicar existencia (¿había una manzana?) Como verbo auxiliar - había = HAD Para indicar existencia - había = THERE WAS – THERE WERE ¿Usted había dormido? = Had you slept ? ¿ Había una manzana ? = Was there an apple ?
