ABillofMaterialsisalistofconstituentitemsalong
withquantitydetailsthatcanbeallottedforthemanufacture
ofacertainproduct,by-productorlikewise.Thisfacilitates
immediatereductioninstockoftheitemautomatically.This
processoflistingtheitemsthatmakeupanotheritemismade
possibleinTallybyenablingtheBillofMaterialsFacility.
BillofMaterial(BoM)iscreatedonlyforthoseitems
thatarebeingassembledin-house.Therefore,youneedto
specifyaBoMatthetimeofcreatingaStockItemorwhile
alteringthestockitem.Fortradingitems,youdonotneeda
BoM.

screen.

UnderNameofBOMspecifycomponentlistName-Standard
andpressentertoviewStockItemComponents(BOM)
screen.

7. In this field mention the quantity of Raw Material required to
manufacture the finished goods.
Observe to create 1 PEN we require 3 Different inputs. The
Quantity of inputs consumed to manufacturer finished goods is 1
each of 3 different inputs.

8. Specifyotherrequireddetailsinthestockitemmasterandaccept
thescreen.
