In-group: leader harmonizes with the member to establish mutual trust and respect
in order to most effectively utilize the member’s unique workplace personalities
Out-group: leader hasn’t properly tailored the relationship to develop mutual trust
and respect. The member’s highest potential is not met, and can create a hostile
environment.
