CONTENTS : OBJECTIVE / ABSTRACT EXISTING METHOD PROPOSED METHOD SAMPLE OUTPUT BASE PAPER

OBJECTIVE The main aim of this project is reduces the risk of finding the parking slots in any parking area . It eliminates the unnecessary travelling of vehicles across the filled parking slots in a city. A simple and easy task such as parking is thought as a tedious and time-consuming process due to mismanagement of parking system Current parking systems involve huge manpower for management and requires user to search for parking space floor by floor

Existing method

Transceiver : Arduino UNO – Used for sensor connection ZigBee - A software low data transfer rates Vehicle data Base: Arduino UNO and Details LCD display

Proposed Method Red led 1,2 Fire sensor Node MCU ESP 8266 IR Sensor - 4 IR Sensor - 3 IR Sensor - 2 IR Sensor - 1 Parking slots Yellow led 1,2 Green led 1,2 Power Supply End user Blynk App Platform

Node MCU : 32-bit RISC CPU 80MHz 64KB of instruction RAM 4MB flash 96 KB of data RAM 13- GPIO pins SPI, IC Can be programmed with Lua, C/C++, Python, Basic, Arduino IDE

IR - Sensor Active output level: Outputs Low logic level when obstacle is detected On board Obstacle Detection LED indicator

CONCLUSION The concept of Smart Cities has always been a dream for humanity. Since the past couple of years ago large advancements have been made in making smart cities a reality. The growth of Internet of Things and Cloud technologies have given rise to new possibilities in terms of smart cities. Smart parking facilities and traffic management systems have always been at the core of constructing smart cities. In this project, we address the issue of parking and present an IoT based Cloud integrated smart parking system. The system that we propose provides real time information regarding availability of parking slots in a parking area. Users from remote locations could book a parking slot for them by the use of our mobile application. The efforts made in this project are intended to improve the parking facilities of a city and thereby aiming to enhance the quality of life of its people.
