Verbal communication Verbal communication entails the use of words in delivering the intended message. The two major forms of verbal communication. Written communication Traditional pen, paper letters, documents , typed electronic documents, e-mails, text chats and SMS.
Written Communication Written communication is essential for communicating complicated information, such as statistics or other data, that could not be easily communicated through speech alone . Written communication also allows information to be recorded so that it can be referred to at a later date.
Oral Communication T he other form of verbal communication is the spoken word, either face-to-face or through phone, voice chat, video conferencing or any other medium.
Nonverbal communication Physical nonverbal communication or body language Includes facial expressions, eye contact, body posture, gestures such as a wave, pointed finger tone of voice, and touch etc. Facial expressions are the most common among all nonverbal communication.
Non-Verbal Communication Non-verbal communication includes body language, gestures, facial expressions, and even posture. Non-verbal communication sets the tone of a conversation, and can seriously undermine the message contained in your words if you are not careful to control it.
Visual communication T hrough visual aids such as signs, typography, drawing, graphic design, illustration, color and other electronic resources . Visual has become the most used type of communication, driven by social media, YouTube, and other platforms of the digital era.
