Routes of Administration

Efficacy BCG – 80% for severe form of the disease; 0 - 80% for pulmonary TB. OPV – Sabin – 72% - 98% in hot climate. Lower protection against type III. Tetanus – >95%; 80% after 2 doses. Need booster q5 – 10yrs. Diphtheria >80% Pertussis – 80% for severe disease. Duration unknown. Rotarix – 90 – 100%.
