He who owns a gardening spade, Should be able to dig the depth of its blade. He who owns a gardening hoe, Must be sure how he means his strokes to go.

But he who owns a gardening fork, May make it do all the other tools' work. Though to shift, or to pot, or annex what you can, A trowel's the tool for child, woman, or man.

The following are the most commonly used garden tools . used for collecting dried leaves, grass and dirt. RAKE

After using the tools in the garden, clean each one of them and store them properly. For proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment, observe the following: 1. Tools should be kept in their proper places. 2. Clean and dry the garden tools after using and before keeping them. 3. To prevent any untoward incident, place the sharp –edged and pointed tools in a cabinet. 4. To avoid getting hurt, do not play with garden tools, for they might get broken. 5. Wipe for the metal parts with oil to prevent rusting if the tools will not be used for a long time. 6. Repair any broken tool at once to save time. 7. Sharpen the tools so that they will be in good condition and ready for the next use.

Garden makes good use of some basic tools. These appropriate basic tools are means to carry out specific functions to accomplish a task. Tools make gardening much easier and more convenient.

In using any of the tools and equipment for plant, remember to practice these simple health and safety practices. Have the right tool for planting trees and fruit trees. 2. Use the right tool for the right purpose. 3. Wear the proper attire when planting.
