Our regards from sunny Sochi! Ail our family are
having an excellent rest here and we don't want to
leave. The weather is wonderful! The sun is shining,
absolutely no rain. It's hot. We spend mornings on
the beach. We lie in the sun and bathe. The water
is blue and very warm — I can swim the whole
day. Sometimes 1 and my father go windserfing or
waterskiing. This is great! In the afternoon we have
lunch in a small restaurant in a park near the sea.
There is a good sport centre in our holiday camp. In
the evening we play volleyball and tennis. I take a lot
of pictures. I will show the pictures to you when we
come back. I'm sure you're having good time in the
camp and you're not bored. 1 hope, that next summer
holidays we'll spend together.

Good-bye, Yulya.

Hi, Nick,

1 want to tell you about myself. My name is Sasha,
I'm twelve years old and I'm Russian. I'm in year
eight in secondary school. I like Art and Maths but
my favourite subject is PE. My best friend is Michael.
He's in my class and he's cool!

I live with my mum, my brother and my sister in a
flat on the second floor. My dad is a doctor. Our flat
is quite big. | love my bedroom! There are some nice

187

posters on the walls and I've got a great CD collection.
Well, that's about it.
Love,
Sasha

Dear Angela,

How are you? Here we are at my aunt and uncle’s
country cottage and I'm having a wonderful time! The
cottage is one hundred years old. It has only one floor
and two bedrooms, but it’s very beautiful. It’s hot and
the sun is shining here. Every day we go for a long
walk in the morning, then my aunt cooks a delicious
lunch. She's a very good cook! In the afternoon I
always put on my shorts and a T-shirt and sunbathe in
the beautiful garden.

Tomorrow, there will be a festival in the nearby
town. During the festival everyone dresses upin
costumes and dances in the streets. I'll tell you
about it next week
