•TheseincidentshaveuncoveredflawsinthePNP'scybersecuritymeasures,leavingit
opentosophisticatedattacks.Thisunderscorestheseverityofthesecuritybreachand
highlightstheneedforheightenedvigilanceinsafeguardingsensitiveinformation.
•BreachofthePNP'sdatabasesbythreatactorswithinashorttimeframeemphasizesthe
urgentneedforstrongercybersecuritymeasures.Theseincidentsrevealsignificantgaps
indataprotectionandthePNP'sabilitytodefendsensitiveinformationfrom
unauthorizedaccessandmisuse.
•LackofsecuritytoolssuchasIntrusionDetectionandPreventionSystem(IDPS)leadsto
thetotalbreachofthePNPSystem.
•SeriesofbreachesofthePNPInformationSystemsmaybeattributedtoahumanerror
onthepartofSystemAdministratorandotherinvolvepersonnelaswellastothe
accountabilityoftheserviceproviderorthird-partysystemdeveloperforfailureto
monitortheearlyintrusionofthethreatactor.
