What are HYPONYMs? Are words that refer to subcategories or members of a more general or broader class. Example: Rose, is the hyponym of flower. Example: Red, is the hyponym of color.
What are HYPERNYMs? Are words with a broad meaning that more specific words fall under; a superordinate . Example: Animal, is the hypernym of cat. Example: Number, is the hypernym of one (1) .
