The Palawan State University – Coron is committed to demonstrate education in the locality by bringing the quality tertiary education at the
doorsteps of every Calamian on through the offering of courses relevant to the socio-economic progress of the Calamianes group of Island
Municipalities.
It aims to produce a workforce that is composed of holistically molded and trained individuals who possess global skills in the fileds of
education, criminal justice, business hospitality and tourism.
Specific:
a. To provide affordable and quality tertiary education in the Calamianes area.
b. To provide upgraded competencies among undergraduates for social and economic development through offering of degree
programs relevant to the needs of communities they serve.
c. To increase the number of professionals in Coron and nearby Municipalities.

Course Title FIELD STUDY 2

Course Description This course is continuation of Field Study 1. It is school base and allows a pre-service student to participate and assist in a limited actual
teaching-learning activities that relate to assessment of learning, preparation of instructional materials, preparation of the bulletin boards,
and other routines in the classroom. A portfolio which will contain sample lesson or learning plans and demonstration teaching of at least
one subject content area will be required. An action research shall be encouraged to start in this course and conclude during the Internship.
