4. Presence of double bond On bromination yield tetra bromine indicates presence of two double bond.

5. OH group [tertiary alcohol] It reacts with PCl5 hence OH is present. On catalytic dehydrogenation yield oleffin reveals that presence of tertiary OH group.

6. Linalool is isomeric with geraniol steam at 200C
