Growth:
•The bones of the head are soft and flexible to
make it easier to fit through the birth canal.
•The lungs may still not be fully developed.
•The baby is now approximately 18 inches long
and weighs about five pounds.

Movement:
•The baby can kick strongly and roll.
•Acrobatic tumbles should stop, but you'll
continue to feel wriggling and turning
• The baby can also jab you with his/her
elbows and knees.

Changes in the body:
1-12 weeks 13-28

Trimester
•In the third trimester, you may find yourself having
difficulty breathing.
•You may also notice that you may have to go to the
bathroom a lot more often than usual.
•This is because your baby is getting bigger, so it has
more pressure on your organs.

Physical and Emotional changes in
your Body:
•Extreme Tiredness
•Tender, swollen breasts. Your nipples might also stick out.
•Upset stomach with or without throwing up (morning sickness)
•Cravings or distaste for certain foods
•Mood swings
•Constipation
•Pees more than normal
•Headache
•Heartburn
•Shortness of breath
•Heartburn
•Swelling of the ankles, fingers, and face.
•Hemorrhoids- when your butt whole bleeds
•Tender breasts, which may leak a watery pre-milk
•Your belly button may stick out
•Trouble sleeping
•The baby "dropping", or moving lower in your abdomen
•Contractions, which can be a sign of real or false labor
