Tayyib uses his awesome power to punish the taxi driver by making him suffer a tyre burst leaving the driver frustrated, resentful and enraged. Tayyib hails a taxi to take him to the heart of the city. The driver waves his hand at him in haughty refusal and speeds on his way without paying him further mind. This is not the first time such a thing is happening to him. Tayyib’s anger gets the better part of him even though he knows that one given a power such as his should only use it for good. He considers for a moment that he could make the driver suffer an accident on the road. He stares at the taxi’s rear wheels and both of them explode suddenly like a bomb. The driver pulls over drumming his palms together frustrated for losing two wheels at one time. Tayyib feels he has taught the man a much needed lesson, he offers to help the man but the man looks at him resentful and enraged. The accident has affected him much. Later Tayyib loses his awesome power.
Tayyib uses is power to strike a man in the bus with severe cramps. Tayyib watches an argument erupt inside a bus between a woman and a man behind her. He studies the dimensions of the conflict carefully. The man suddenly slaps the woman’s face with shocking impulsiveness. Tayyib is so startled by the incident that he focuses all his anger at the offending man’s stomach. He strikes the man with severe cramps. The man doubles over, moaning and screaming in pain. The bus does not move until he is carried outside for an ambulance. Tayyib observes all this with satisfaction, certain that he had done his duty in the best manner possible manner. Later he loses his awesome power.

He listens to a radio announcer expounding on promising developments in the future. He commands him to talk about what has been accomplished and not the future. Tayyib is overcome with furry. He says to himself that only sneezing would stop him from speaking. He makes the man sneeze massively without warning. Then he sneezes abruptly and more emphatically. He sneezes uncontrollably until he could not complete a full sentence. The sneezes keep waylaying him until he is forced to conclude that unforeseen illness had seized him. The announcer is unable to talk anymore. He plays a song walk around and see. In this he harms the announcer later loses his power.
Tayyib uses his power to make the beautiful woman fall in love with him. While seated in the tea garden at the zoo to draw a comprehensive program for his intervantion , Tayyib sees a beautiful woman approaching to take a seat right next to him. Gorgeous and enticing, she is a perfect replica of his lost youthful glory. Tayyib finds his passion aroused in a way that he had not known since first married Haniya, destroying the indifference he had dreaded since he entered old age. The woman barely notices him since her large, round eyes wandered over the zoo’s green lake and ducks floating lazily on it. He says to himself that does she know that in a split- second, he could set her head over heels at will. He hesitate a moment before sending her a hidden message. Instantly , she throws him an answering look and as though she is about to speak. Tayyib gives way to his desires in spite of himself. In one shared smile, he utterly forgets both his faith and life. He closes notebook as they stand up together surrendering their fate. Due to this, Tayyib loses his awesome power.
