Changing
lives
At Tupperware our business strategies and philanthropic programs
align to enlighten, educate and empower our global sales force,
our customers and their families.
For five decades,
Tupperware Australia has
donated funds, products
and merchandise to
international, national and
local charities around the
world.
We have supported hospitals, schools
and vocational training programs,
health and wellness programs,
social services and the arts.
Connecting with local needs
in nearly 100 countries.
Giving back to the communities
where we live and work is central
to the history of Tupperware. Each
region determines where fundraising
efforts are to be directed. In Australia
we have supported the National
Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)
since 2008.
NBCF is one of the country’s most
respected charities and is a key
health provider with education being
the key to its belief that knowledge
is the first step to detection.
Funds raised from the sale of our
Enviro Bags (see page 35) and $2.00
from the sale of our Out To Lunch set
(see page 48 and right ) support the
NBCF invaluable community
education seminars, medical
grants, scholarships as well as
breast cancer registers.
As an organisation, Tupperware is
also committed to providing our
global sales force, their consumers
and families with sustainable living
solutions that help improve the
quality of their lives. We do this
through our famous Lifetime
Guarantee, our recycling policies,
our manufacturing processes and
our business opportunity.
Our business opportunity
is not only lucrative; it’s
rewarding, supportive
and flexible, and it’s
available to you!
Work for yourself, with an
organisation that cares about
you, your community and the
environment you live in.
Tupperware is not only extraordinary
design for everyday living and it
provides enormous opportunities
for everyday lives.
Thousands have made
the choice to get the party
started, what about you?
“We’ve also just renovated our
house. And, through Tupperware,
we paid our mortgage out in
two-and-a-half years – 15 years
earlier than expected! ”
Leanne Madigan with her family.
When Melbourne mother-of-three
Leanne Madigan attended her first
Tupperware party in June 2007, she
could never have imagined how that
night would change her life. In the few
years since starting her Tupperware
career, Leanne’s business has brought
incredible benefits to her lifestyle,
her finances and her family.
The former office manager had never
even used Tupperware products before
that night, but she liked what she saw.
“I wanted everything when I
went to that party, and then
the Demonstrator started
talking about the business
opportunity.
She mentioned how they receive a
discount on products, that they can
work flexible hours and still earn
serious money. It ticked all the boxes:
I could work around the kids and their
school hours. It sounded like the perfect
opportunity for me to go out there and
make some money without it affecting
my children’s routine.” By November
2007, Leanne was promoted to a
Manager, and by Christmas, she had
qualified for a Manager car, a Ford
Territory. “The car was a big thing for
me because I’d never had a brand new
car,” she says. Today, she’s driving her
fourth Manager car and her three boys
love it as much as she does. “I keep
getting upgraded! This car’s got a DVD
player so the boys think it’s the best
car in the world.”
With the great money she earns from
Tupperware, Leanne is able to give
her family a lot of extras they weren’t
previously able to afford. “We had to
watch our pennies – we couldn’t afford
certain things. Now, we can go on
holiday wherever we want. We can just
say, ‘Oh, let’s go to Queensland’ and go.
We’ve also just renovated our house.
And, through Tupperware, we paid our
mortgage out in two-and-a-half years –
15 years earlier than expected!
We would not have ever been able
to do that before.”
Of course, all this is in addition to
the rewards and recognition Leanne
receives for partying. The recognition,
says Leanne, is second to none.
“I’ve never worked a job where
you get paid and, you receive
recognition and rewards for a
job well done.”
A huge career highlight for Leanne was
being recognised as the top Manager
in sales throughout Australia and
New Zealand at a recent Manager
Conference. She has also been
showered with gifts, including jewellery,
a 50-inch plasma television, as well
as overseas trips for herself and her
husband with five-star VIP treatment.
Considering she knew next to nothing
about the company and the products
only three years ago, Leanne credits
her success to Tupperware’s ongoing
training and incredible support. She
now loves giving this same opportunity
to others and watching as their lives
change for the better.
