Company Overview: ABC Water & Energy Company The client solely operates in the energy and water sectors providing consulting, technology, engineering, management and innovation services to leading businesses, governments, non-governmental organizations. They work with their customers across the utility value chain to deliver sustainable and lasting improvements to their efficiency and performance, adding value to their bottom line. The client has presence in India, the United Kingdom, Australia, Turkey, Spain, Kazakhstan, and the United States, and has a workforce of over 3,500 across the globe. Scope Client is now expecting to standardized, automate and streamlined their business functions, Hire To Retire, Finance & Supply Chain process, Projects , Payroll, CRM Functions. Initially client wanted to cover four geographies (e.g., US, India, UK, Australia)  which includes 10 legal entities .

The key project drivers were: Need for a holistic cloud-based solution to cater end-to-end the client business process State-of-the-art talent management solution focusing on alignment with overall corporate objectives Cost optimization and transparency to improve bottom-line Control and measure to reduce leakage in Global Supply Chain of the client Reduction of information asymmetry through real-time dashboards providing a global view Effective customer relationship management starting from sales planning and forecasting to business conversion Adopting the global best practices for the client sector This implementation initiative was not just a replacement of the existing technology landscape, but with new best of breed technology platforms available today. The project is an all-round transformation initiative where thought leadership needs to build the organization of the future .

4. Company Overview: ABC Water & Energy Company cont. We were competing with the other "big 4" companies in the bidding process. The client was impressed with PwC's in-depth business process understanding and the number of successful cloud implementation projects. The ready to use business process templates shortened our delivery timelines and our in-built reporting/dashboarding stack for financials and SCM provided us an edge over the competition. The subject matter expert (SME) team who would be part of the overall solutioning gave confidence to the customer in the final leg of the selection process.
