Mission and Vision

1. PHILOSOPHY
Abuyog Academy, Inc. adheres to its
philosophy of providing quality secondary
education of low income families in the
municipality of Abuyog and its nearby
municipalities and giving their children the
opportunity to enroll and study in a
private school where tuition fee is minimal
and affordable.
GOALS
The goals of the school in relation to students learning
and development include:
1. Improve student learning and student performance vis-a-vis
the desired learning outcomes of the K-12 curriculum.
2. Foster a culture of excellence in all areas developing the full
potential of the students.
3. Prepare the students to think critically.
4. Increase student learning by providing more opportunities for
learning with the involvement of other school stakeholders and
assess the phase of learning progress.
5. Produce high school graduates ready to face the demands for
higher education, tech-voc, middle level skills employment and
entrepreneurship.
OBJECTIVES
As a private non-sectarian secondary learning institution,
the school adheres to the following objectives:
1. to continue to promote the objectives of elementary
education;
2. to discover and enhance the different aptitudes and
interests of the students so as to equip them with skills for
productive endeavor;
3. to prepare the students for tertiary schooling, middle level
skills, technical/vocational competence, and entrepreneurship;
and
4. too equip the students with the necessary competencies as
reflected in the K-12 Curriculum.
VISION
We envision the learners to be
functionally literates, equipped with
life-long learning skills, desirable
values, and critical thinking responsive
to the rapidly changing world and to
respond to academic challenges and
become productive members of the
society.
MISSION
Providing affordable, value-oriented, and
quality education to all by offering them
with adequate knowledge, skills and
values necessary to succeed in life and
learning and empower them to respond to
challenges of the 21st Century, and to
achieve standards and excellence of living
within the global community.
