OBJECTIVES FINDINGS/OBSERVATIONS/SYNTHESIS PLAN OF ACTION
Reading intervention programs aim to support
struggling learners and improve their literacy skills.
The key objectives of reading intervention include:
1.Improve Reading Fluency – Help students
read smoothly, accurately, and at an
appropriate speed.
2.Enhance Comprehension – Develop
students' ability to understand, analyze, and
interpret texts.
3.Strengthen Phonemic Awareness –
Improve recognition of sounds in words to
enhance decoding skills.
4.Boost Phonics Skills – Help students
connect letters with sounds to improve word
recognition.
5.Increase Reading Confidence – Build self-

Sir Allene Garth A. Fernandez led the
first session actively.
The participants contributed much
their ideas during the discussion
about Assessment Tool (CSAT)
Results.
With the Assessment results every
school able to identify things they
need to improve.
SESSION 2: CATCH-UP FRIDAYS
Participant Activities:
Mae T. Hope Acta, EPS Math,
indulged everyone about
implementation of Catch-Up Fridays
as per DM 001 S. 2024.
The session was all about Reading,
improve Comprehension, and to
Plan some strategies to address specific
needs in making teaching effective.
Implement Catch-Up Fridays Action Plans
to address learning gaps in improving
students’ academic performance.
Promote during discussions the principles of
the Values Education Act and GMRC (Good
Manners and Right Conduct) into daily
lessons and classroom management.
Monitor student’s performance if the
Catch-up Fridays is effective to
everyone.
