PAST progressive
•Wheninthepastprogressiveorcontinuous,inthe
sentenceoftheactivevoiceitgoesinthepastform,the
sentencegoesinthepast,forexample,theverbtobe,is
changed(was-were)andtheverbisaccompaniedor
addedtothegerundING,withitscomplementthatmust
beinthepasttense.
SUBJECT + (was –were) + VERB + ing + complent

Passive VOICE of the
Past progressive
In the passive voice, the sentence changes position,
first the object goes, then the was-were depends on
whether it is in the plural or in the singular, then the
being is added plus the verb in participle, then the
subject is added and at the end it is added. Place the
complement to end the sentence in the passive voice.
OBJECT + was –were + being + VERB IN PAST PARTICIPLE + BY + OBJECT
PRONUONS + COMPLEMENT
