2. Defination First, a phrase is any multiword group without a conjugated verb. Second, an adjectival phrase is a phrase that modifies or describes a noun or pronoun. Usually, an adjectival phrase consists of an adjective and a prepositional phrase, such as free from bias or pertinent to our discussion . We prefer to limit the expression adjectival phrase to those multiword groupings that begin with true adjectives.

Adjective like new/large/ wooden are fact adjectives They give us objective information about something( age , size, color) Adjectives are word that describe Nouns and used in many ways You can use them before or often Nouns.

7. Comparing adjectives Most adjectives have three forms, a base form, a comparative form and a superlative form. 10. Adding prefixes to make antonyms There is another way you can make antonyms from given adjectives. You add a prefix to a given adjective to give it an opposite meaning.
