NFSU will conduct an Entrance Test (NFAT -
2023) for Non-GATE qualified candidates.
50% of the total seats will be filled through
the GATE qualified candidates and
remaining 50% will be filled through Non-
GATE qualified candidates based on their
NFSU Entrance Test's Score. The admission
committee may decide a cut-off score in
each category, based on the applications
received and the seats available. In case
GATE qualified applicants are lesser than
the available seats then the university may
allot those vacant seats of GATE qualified
quota to the Non-GATE qualified candidates
based on their NFSU Entrance Test's Score.
60 % of the total questions
would be based on topics
related to Computer Science,
Programming, Data Science,
Artificial Intelligence and
remaining 40% of questions
would be based on
Reasoning, English Grammar,
General Knowledge and
General Awareness.
100 Multiple Choice
Questions (MCQs) of 100
marks.
For each incorrect answer,
there would be 0.25
negative marking.
