3. Agriculture is also called as farming which the
cultivation of animals, plants, fungi and other life form
for food, fibre biofuel ,drugs and other product used
to sustain and enhance human life.

Agriculture is the largest contributor of any resource
sector to the economy.
it is also large generator of waste materials .

4. AGRICULTURAL WASTE:-
Agricultural waste is composed of organic waste (anima
excreta in the form of sluries and farm yard manures,
spent mushroom compost,soiled water and silage
effluent)

- Animal waste
- Plant waste

6. If waste are not properly handled they can pollute surface and
groundwater and contribute to air pollution. The proper management of
waste from agricultural operation can contribute in a significant way to
farm operations. Waste management help to maintain a healthy
environment for farm animals and can reduce the need for commercial
fertilizer while providing other nutrient needed for crop production. The
waste which is reduce recycle and make it usable for different purpose is
a waste management.

8. presently in India annually 350 MT are organic
waste from agriculture source.
The major quantity of solid waste generated from
agriculture sources are sugarcane baggage paddy and straw
waste of vegetables food product ,tea, oil production jute
fibre, groundnut shell, wooden mill waste, cotton stalk.
GENERATION
India is one of the richest country
in agriculture resources .

9. COLLECTION
Waste like fruit and vegetable waste are.
collected from houses called domestic waste. .

Waste collected from road Street or side.
Collected Weste like dry refuse and green waste,
animal dung, from agricultural field.

10. Waste collected from the side of road, agriculture
field all are transported to dicompose site and for
further treatment by truck and trailer and carts
Different type of waste are collected and then
transported for further treatment and the waste
which is not used each directly disposal to the
sanitary land
Waste are not burn in open air so it it then
transported to incineration.

Various treatment process are performed on agricultural
waste are as follows:-
When dealing with agriculture waste we must follow
health and safety regulation.
We should provide written instructions for storing and
disposing of each type of waste we produce
We must dispose of waste if we have determine that we
cannot use prevention, preparation for reuse ,recycling
or any other recovery method.

Composting is a method in which organic matter present
in agriculture waste is decomposed by aerobically /
anaerobically through a biochemical process and
converted into humus.
