3. LASALLIAN PASTORAL OFFICE Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God, aware of those around us and of His Spirit who prays in each of us.

5. LASALLIAN PASTORAL OFFICE St. John Baptist de La Salle writes: Do not doubt that God has given you a great gift in calling you to teach the young, to announce the gospel to them.  You work for the church, which is the body of Christ.

6. LASALLIAN PASTORAL OFFICE Act with love , with a sincere and true zeal.  Let your zeal give tangible proof that you love those God has entrusted to you just as Jesus Christ has loved his church.  

7. LASALLIAN PASTORAL OFFICE Tell the parents, too, what Jesus Christ said about the flock which he shepherds and saves: “I come that they might have life and have it to the full.” (end of the reading)   

8. LASALLIAN PASTORAL OFFICE In silence, let us reflect on the following question: Do I consider myself as God’s chosen minister in educating those entrusted to my care? In what way do I see myself in this regard?

9. LASALLIAN PASTORAL OFFICE (Altogether) O God, we remember the wonders of your creation, especially the wonders that make up those with whom we work.  Grant us your wisdom and give us the mind of Christ that we may truly be his ministers,

10. LASALLIAN PASTORAL OFFICE forming others with the clothing of His glory.  Let your grace work through us as we become the gospel others read most clearly.  The heart of what we teach lies within our own hearts.
