Poem (Title Paraphrasing)
The world is a stage for human being, where they play
their different roles of life. In face human beings play
their parts in life, as characters play their roles on
stage.

Poem (Theme)
The theme of this poem is the cycle of life. How one
starts out helpless, withoutunderstanding and ends
the same way.

Poem (Tone)
The tone of this poem is somber. It shows how in the
end we all fallback into almost the same state we
were in asan infant.

Poem (Mood)
The mood of this poem is very "matter-of-fact" yet
bleak. It conveys the message that ultimately we end
up just as were to be begin with, HELPLESS.

Poem (Extended Metaphor)
This poem comparesthe world toone giant stage. He
states how all the men and women are merely
actorsin this production and that they all have their
entrances and exits (life and death.) He goes on
todescribe the stages of life fromthe first months of
life, to childhood, tothe teenage years, to early
adulthood, to old age.
