Alsace, in the northeastern corner of France, is one of the five major wine towns in France.
It is rich in sweet and charming white wine with an amber-like color. The grape varieties
here have a strong German origin. Even the village buildings are traditional German half-
timbered houses

The Alsace Wine Route (route des vins d´Alsace) runs parallel to the Rhine River and offers
endless scenery.

In the core area of
