ANÁLISIS CRÍTICO DEL DISCURSO

ACD El Análisis Crítico del Discurso (ACD) es un tipo de investigación que se centra en el análisis discursivo y estudia, principalmente, la forma en la que el abuso de poder y la desigualdad social se representan, reproducen, legitiman y resisten en el texto y el habla en contextos sociales y políticos .

ACD el estudio del discurso con una actitud . Las actitudes forman parte de nuestra vida y de nuestro comportamiento. Poseemos múltiples actitudes. Son aprendidas y las adquirimos en el transcurso de nuestra interacción social, a través de las distintas agencias de socialización .

PROPIEDADES ACD Se enfoca, principalmente, en problemas sociales y cuestiones políticas , en lugar de solo estudiar las estructuras discursivas fuera de sus contextos sociales y políticos. Este análisis crítico de problemáticas sociales es, usualmente, multidisciplinario. En lugar de meramente describir estructuras discursivas, trata de explicarlas en términos de sus propiedades de interacción social y, especialmente, de estructura social . Más específicamente, el ACD se centra en las formas en las que las estructuras discursivas representan, confirman, legitiman, reproducen o desafían las relaciones de abuso de poder (dominación) en la sociedad .

CARACTERÍSTICAS ACD El ACD aborda problemáticas sociales. Las relaciones de poder son discursivas. El discurso constituye sociedad y cultura. El discurso tiene implicancias ideológicas. El discurso es histórico. La relación entre texto y sociedad es mediada. El análisis discursivo es interpretativo y explicativo. El discurso es una forma de acción social.

ACD MACRONIVEL El poder, la dominación y la desigualdad entre grupos sociales son términos que, típicamente, pertenecen a un nivel de análisis macro.

MICRO NIVELES DEL ANÁLISIS Miembros-grupos: instituciones, miembros de las instituciones y sus lenguajes Acciones-proceso: partes constituyentes de acciones y procesos sociales grupales , como la legislación, la elaboración de noticias o la reproducción del racismo. Contexto- estructura social : parte o constituyentes de la estructura social Es decir, los contextos “locales” y “globales” están estrechamente relacionados, y ambos ejercen restricciones sobre el discurso Cognición personal y social : ambos tipos de cognición personal y social (memoria individual, conocimiento y opiniones), así como aquellas compartidas con miembros de su grupo o cultura en su totalidad.

PODER controlar indirectamente (algunas de) sus acciones, como ya sabemos que ocurre en el caso de la persuasión y la manipulación. Cerrar el círculo del discurso-poder significa, finalmente, que aquellos grupos que controlan el discurso más influyente tienen, a su vez, más oportunidades de controlar de manera indirecta las mentes y las acciones de otros el acceso a formas específicas de discurso – por ejemplo, el de la política, los medios de comunicación, la educación o la ciencia- es, en sí mismo, fuente de poder (van Dijk 1996).

Preguntas orientadoras ¿Cómo controlan los grupos poderosos el texto y el contexto del discurso público? ¿Cómo dicho poder discursivo controla las mentes y las acciones de los grupos menos poderosos, y cuáles son las consecuencias sociales de tal control, además de la desigualdad social? ¿Cuáles son las propiedades del discurso de los grupos, las instituciones y las organizaciones poderosas, y cómo dichas propiedades

Control de la mente Si controlar los contextos y las estructuras del texto y el habla es la principal forma de ejercer poder, controlar la mente de las personas a través de esos discursos es una manera indirecta pero fundamental de reproducir la dominación y la hegemonía. Efectivamente, el control del discurso busca incidir, generalmente, en las intenciones, los planes, el conocimiento, las opiniones, las actitudes y las ideologías del destinatario –así como en sus acciones consiguientes-

Modelos mentales son las representaciones subjetivas de eventos, acciones o situaciones sobre las que se trata un discurso –y por lo tanto, dichos modelos tienen una naturaleza semántica referencial-. Entender o interpretar el discurso sobre eventos específicos.

Léxico: legitimar el delito Pronombres:Diferencias de poder, deferencia y cortesía entre hablantes y receptores son típicamente marcadas por pronombres. Sintaxis y léxico: eufemísticos para mitigar su responsabilidad por la violencia contra las mujeres Metáforas: las metáforas pueden ser utilizadas como razones Narración: Las narraciones indican identidades sociales Conversación.
