THE TROJAN HORSE Greeks fought war against the city of Troy for 10 years Greeks thought up a clever trick and made a very large hollow wooden horse Some Greek solders climbed inside the horse and hid there At night they left the horse near the gate of Troy City and hid their army out of sight of T rojans In morning the Trojans thought the G reek army has left and took the horse as gift from their enemy
Trojans took the wooden horse into their city They celebrated the horse as gift from GOD At night, the hiding Greek solders came out of the horse and opened the city gates for the Greek army Soon the city of Troy was captured by the Greek Army THE TROJAN HORSE
THE OLYMPIC GAMES The Olympic games were held more than 2700 years ago in Greece, in a place called Olympia People from different parts of Greece came to Olympia for the games The games were held in a big stadium There were different types of sports such as: Javelin throw Discus throw Boxing Wrestling Running Horse race
