1. ANG AMA JUAN TAMAD The father in the story is beyond redemption. It is not a good ending for him. He caused too much pain to his family. Taking life with the excuse of being drunk and poverty is unreasonable. His actions affected the plot when he killed his child- there are sins that are unforgivable for me. The plot is an example of harsh reality in our society today in poor families. Juan is a lazy person but his actions are not acts against moral standards. When his mother got sick and when he fell in love, there is a gradual change in his character and he changed for the better. It influenced the plot because it lead to happy ending, Maria is a good influence to Juan. RIKA PEREZ
