1. Animals Types of animals There are many types of animals like farm animals, domestic animals, wild animals and sea/water animals, extinct animals and endangered animals. Eating Some animals are herbivors,carnivors or omnivores.

2. Farm Animals Farm animals live in a farm so we can use their products. Eg -Cow for milk, Chicken for eggs

4. Extinct animals are animals that have disappeared from the Earth forever. Eg -Dinosaurs, Dodo Birds and Giant Ground Sloths.

5. Endangered Animals Endangered animals are animals that are about to become extinct. Eg -Tiger

6. Nocturnal Animals Nocturnal animals are animals that sleep in the day time and stay awake in the night. Eg - Owls, raccoons and bats.

7. Domestic Animals Domestic animals are animals that can be tamed, bred or kept in the house with us. Eg - Dog, Cat or fish

8. Wild Animals Wild animals are those animals that can’t be kept as a pet. They live in the Jungle or Forest. Examples- Lion, Tiger and a bear

9. Water Animals Sea or water animals are the animals that live in the ocean, sea, lake or any water body. Mostly, they breathe through GILLS. Examples-Dolphin, Whale The whale and dolpins don’t breathe through gills, instead they come up take a deep breathe and dive inside the water and thus, hold there breath for 8min till they come up again
