•Withits32membercountriesfromtheAsia-Pacificregiongeneratingaroundhalfoftheglobalmail
volume,APPUisoneofthelargestrestrictedunionsoftheUPU.
•HeadquarteredinBangkok,Thailand,thepurposeofAPPUistoextend,facilitateandimprovepostal
relationsbetweenmembercountriesandtopromotecooperationinthefieldofpostalservices.
•APPUalsohoststheworld’slargestintergovernmentalpostaltraininginstitute-theAsian-PacificPostal
College(APPC).Everyyear,around50weeksoftrainingand15weeksofworkshopsareorganizedin
theAPPConvarioustopicsincludinge-commerce,supplychain,e-business,technology,business
development,parcel&logistics,lastmiledelivery&fulfilment,innovation,marketing,digital
transformationinthesectorandpostalfinancialservices.
•Fortheyear2024,14courses(3/4/6weeks)and15workshops(1weekeach)(inadditiontoseminars
andsymposiums)willbeorganizedbytheAPPUforparticipantsfromthe32membercountriesand
beyond.

otherkeystakeholders,learnindustrytrends,andexploreinnovativesolutionsthatwillhelpshapethefuture

BusinessForum.
