Comprehensive Plan: Housing The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors authorized the advertisement of a public hearing on May 22, 2024, to consider any comments regarding the FINAL DRAFT of the 2024 Newtown Area Joint Comprehensive Plan . The Supervisors will hear from the Newtown Planning Commission, the Bucks County Planning Commission (BCPC, authors of the Plan), contiguous municipalities, the School District, and RESIDENTS ! Newtown Artesian Water Company Plans PFAS Filtration Facility The EPA announced on 10 April 2024 that levels of PFOA and PFOS — two types of PFAS commonly used in nonstick or stain-resistant products such as food packaging and firefighting foam — can’t exceed 4 parts per trillion in public drinking water. By March 2025 NAWC will have a new filtration facility to comply with EPA PFAS limits More details: https:// sco.lt /7nmpd2
