The Fashion Industry and AR Due to the advancement in technology, augmented reality has entered the fashion industry and has totally changed the overall experience In the upcoming slides, I have discussed in brief about the new trends that are being followed in the fashion industry which are powered by Augmented Reality and how they can be adopted and implemented .
Clothing using AR as a service Develop a service offering different brands a feature to enable trying on clothes using augmented reality . Showcase a demonstration of the service in the respective section named ‘Virtual try-on solutions’ in your website under services section. Include a demo video showcasing the use of this feature using a MOBILE device to show convenience . Apart from showcasing only clothes, include footwear, jewellery, watches etc. For implementation purpose, request the user to provide a full body image for processing.
AR powered smart mirrors This is basically an idea of a complete product to be developed. A mirror like device powered by AR to showcase live view of how clothes will appear on a user. For implementation purpose, an already installed catalogue of products will be stored on the device and user can select and preview accordingly. Social Media AR filters Offer a service to different fashion brands involving custom brand filters powered by AR to showcase on famous social apps. Different products of the interested brands can be programmed into live filters and then showcase using AR on social apps. Can be implemented as a way of making fashion brands use your AR tools to promote their products on social media.
Virtual makeover service We can develop a service providing solution to real time make-up using AR. Makeup brands should be the main target for offering this service. Apart from make-up, haircut, tattoos, piercing, lipsticks, eyeliners etc can be added to the package so that user can have an idea of his/her appearance. This service can be implemented by requesting an image of the face of the user for processing. Subsequent video demonstrations can be added to showcase the service.

Can be introduced as a feature in the VR 3-D modelling services section in the services tab of the website. Entire blueprint of a site is to be requested from the user and the prototype can be prepared accordingly. A tutorial video on the respective page can also be added to give a better idea to the user. This service can be made available for both single users as well as for firms.
Interior design Planning using VR A module can be developed which can be use to make and customize interiors of a structure using VR. Can be made to attract interior designers looking for technological assistance and enhancement. We can provide both features like making a complete design from scratch or to make changes to an already existing design. Colour coding options and furniture items etc can also be added to enhance the visual representation . Can be implemented as a standalone package or as a software.
Construction Planning using AR Using AR we can make a feature to simulate and visualize the constructions yet to be started on a site. Main focus of providing the service should be through smartphones or ipads for better experience. This service can be added in the 3-D virtual space section of the website. For implementation, the user should be asked for the images of the construction sites and the list of types of infrastructure to be developed so that a 3-D model of the complete project can be delivered.
