Introduction Part માનવીના જીવનવહેવાર અને તેના મૂલ્યો હમેશાં બદલાતા રહેતા હોય છે. એની સાથે એ સમાજનું નિયમન કરતા નિયમો કે કાયદાઓમાં ફેરફાર કરવાનું જરૂરી બનતું હોય છે.બંધારણ જેવા બુનિયાદી કાયદા માટે પરિવર્તનશીલતાનું એથી પણ વધુ મહત્વ છે. બંધારણના પરીવર્તનની પ્રક્રિયા હળવી રાખવી કે જટિલ રાખવી, તે દરેક સમાજે પોતાની રીતે નક્કી કરવાનું હોય છે. બ્રિટન : રૂઢિઓ અને પ્રણાલિકાઓનું બનેલું બ્રિટનનું બંધારણ પાર્લામેન્ટમાં હાજર સભ્યોની સાદી બહુમતી અને વધુમાં 3/૪ રાજયોનું અનુમોદન જરૂરી છે. ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા : જ્યારે ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયામાં તો એ ઉપરાંત લોકમત લેવાની પણ જરૂર પડે છે. આવી જટિલ પ્રક્રિયાને કારણે દોઢસો વર્ષના ઇતિહાસમાં એને માત્ર ૭ વખત સુધારી શકાયું છે. બંધારણીય રીતે ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા થીજી ગયેલું રાષ્ટ્ર ગણાય છે.
