How do we form the past tense o f verbs?

Regular verbs form their past tense by adding –d or – ed t o the verb. Examples. She prepare d for the contest last night. Mario help ed the board this morning.

Rules in forming Past tense of verbs Add –d to the simple form that ends in –e. Example p repare - prepared live -lived e rase - erased use - used
