External morphology - Habit- A much branched wild perennial herb. Root- tap root branched. Stem- aerial, erect, cylindrical, branched,densely covered with fine stellate hairs. Leaf- Alternate or unequal pairs,ovate,oblong , tapering to the base,petiole is thick and long, reticulate venation. Inflorescence- sub senssile , axillary umbellate,5 flowered cyme. Flower- Greenish yellow,subsessile , bisexual and actinomorphic. Calyx- 5 sepals,bell shaped,gamosepalous .
