3 DEFINITION OF ATTITUDE An attitude is a learned predisposition to respond in or consistently favourable or infavourable manner, with respect to a given object situation or person. Work attitude can be defined as collections of beliefs and thought about how to behave that people currently hold about their jobs and their organizations
4 WORK ATTITUDES AND PERFORMANCE Job satisfaction is the collection of feelings and beliefs that people have about their current jobs. Job satisfaction is positively associated with performance because it has the potential to affect a wide range of behaviours in an organizations and contributes to workers’ level of well being.

8 TURNOVER This is the permanent withdrawal of a worker from the employing organization. Workers who are satisfied with their jobs are less likely to quit than those who are dissatisfied. It is important to note those that all dissatisfied workers will quit while some satisfied workers may leave their present jobs and join other organizations.
