EQUIPMENT Fluroscopy Machine X ray Machine X ray Cassette Normal Saline Glows Sterile Towel Gauze Piece Antiseptic solution Mask Local Anaesthesia (lignicine Gel) Omnipaque CM Foley Catheter

PATIENT PREPARATION Laxative is given on midnight before examination. Fasting 4-6 hrs Instruct patient to remove all metallic object.

PROCEDURE The Radiographers should be explain all procedure to the patient . Radiographers obtain signature of consent form to the patient before the procedure. The patient lies on the fluoroscopy or x ray table in supine position. Before we want to take the scout film of the urethra. Position the patient of turn to oblique of 45 degeree.

Patient knee Joint is flexed up to at 90 degeree The Leg will be in straight position. Open the patient penis foreskin and cleaned with antiseptic solution. After that draped the penis with sterile towel. Give the local anaesthesia to the patient the penis with hand in vertical position. Then insert the foley catheter to make reproductive area in the ratio 1:3M(1.2ml). During the contrast taking film. We want to retake, then we push the contrast gentle into the penis area.

AFTERCARE Remove the foley Catheter from the penis. COMPLICATIONS Pain Bleeding Swelling 2 to 3 cm length of the catheter only injected to the area.
