expanded and renovated Birrarung Building at

Spanning 1,740 square metres (18,729 square feet), the updated
space includes new exhibition galleries alongside more space to
showcase the KHT’s permanent collection, more accessible
community engagement, education spaces, and a revamped
shop offering authentic local art and gifts.
Designed and built in close collaboration with First Nations
architects and communities, all three floors of the new
Birrarung Building reflect the cultural sensitivities of Country.

Born from a partnership between Stanbroke, a family-run cattle
