① Left click to select E-MAIL Script window
② Type any call script name
③ Designate E-MAIL connection
- Tick SMTP (Test SMTP or not, send e-mail)
- Server : 220.241.96.242 (SMTP server address or URL)
- User : test1 (The Account on the above E-MAIL server)
- From : [email protected] (Sender’s E-MAIL Account)
- To : [email protected] (Receiver’s E-mail Account)
- Subject: Test ( E-mail subject, limit within 105 characters)
- Content: test (E-mail content ,limit within 253 characters)
- Tick Attach file (E-mail test inc attach file or not)
Select File Size at combo box(4 size attach file can be chosen, the file is generated by
XCAL-W)

- Tick POP3 (Test POP3 or not, receive e-mail)
- Server : 220.241.96.242 (POP3 server address or URL)
- User ID : test2 (The Account on the POP3 server, the receiver’s account)
- Password: emialtest (password)
- Tick Delete mail
Keep the mail on the POP3 server or not, if the server storage space is limited, then select the
option
④ Designate Call Timers in unit of second
- Idle Time : 5 (seconds, Recommended value)
- Setup Time :30 (second, Air-interface setup time)
- T.Setup Time/Total time (seconds, grey , It is ignored)
- Traffic Time : 120 (seconds)
- Call Count : 100
Traffic Time and Call Count can be changed with your test propose.
Please refer to E-MAIL Call Timers Diagram at next page.
⑤ Click OK to save the configuration

Setup Time
Timer for establishment of PPP connection (DUN)
T_Setup Time
Timer for logging to a target server (FTP, Ping, HTTP and so forth)
If Timer expires without successful access to the target Call, Traffic Setup Fail will be made in call
result.
Total Setup Time
Either “Setup time and Traffic Setup Time” or “Total Setup” time can be defined.
Traffic Time
Timer for downloading/uploading a file from/to E-MAIL server or opening target HTTP web site. If
Timer expires without completing downloading/uploading a file from/to E-MAIL server or opening
HTTP web site, Time Out will be made in call result.
In case of Ping Call, it is ignored.
Call Count
How many times Call test are performed
Total Time [ms]
Total time of a call, i.e. the UE will initiate a new call every Total time in ms, whatever call event has
happened within this time interval. This value has to be larger than the sum of Idle Time, Setup Time
and Traffic Tim
e.

① Left click and Drag & Drop Alias List item you want to test.
② Tick ‘All Scenarios’ to get a log file with your call test
③ Click ‘OK’ button to start a call test
